This week on Sailor Moon:
Official Sailor Moon Stores in Japan are getting a host of new merch including some very cute Luna items. Some Valentine’s Day and White Day Sailor Moon merch is also on the way.
A Sailor Moon Eternal coin pendant is being produced and, yes, it only costs $1,000. What a steal!
Sailor Neptune voice actress, Barbara Radecki, has a new book coming out in April which can be pre-ordered here.
After a premium Sailor Moon collectible? Check out these new watches inspired by Sailor Moon Eternal.
Speaking of Sailor Moon Eternal, some of the merch being sold in theatres in Japan can now be bought online here.
Are you a professional cosplayer? You may want to check out this news on an update to the Japanese copyright law concerning cosplayers.
Satomi Okubo, the first Sailor Moon of the recent batch of musicals, has announced her retirement from the entertainment industry via an Instagra post.
New footage from the Sailor Moon Eternal movies continues to be posted online from official Japanese YouTube channels. I’m personally not watching these videos as I don’t want to be spoiled for their eventual release outside of Japan but you should feel free if you’re into that sort of thing.
Also, some new Sailor Moon x Anna Sui merch has just been announced and it looks pretty decent.
Into Hot Topic? They’ve been very busy adding new Sailor Moon merch to their online store as well.
Next Manga Release: Sailor Moon Vol.1 Paperback Edition
Next Figure Release: Super Sailor Uranus Figuarts Mini
That’s about it for Sailor Moon news but, before I go, I’d like to thank AdorkaBows for sponsoring this week’s newsletter. AdorkaBows is run by Sarah, a long-time member of the Sailor Moon online community, who makes a variety of really cool accessories inspired by the magical girl anime genre, Japanese culture, and geeky influences. Personally, I love this metal magical girl bow pin. On Facebook? Follow AdorkaBows here.
Until next week!
