Hello, Sailor Moon fans, and welcome to this week’s newsletter recapping all of the latest Sailor Moon news.
Quite a bit’s happening this month and next with the Sailor Moon franchise so, this week, I thought I’d break down all of the upcoming major events and releases in an easy-to-read list.
Before we get started though, a reminder that we now have international release dates for both Sailor Moon Eternal movies! Both films will debut on Netflix on June 3rd in pretty much every country outside of Japan. I wrote a special newsletter about it that covers all of the details so make sure to give it a read if you missed it. Since then, the Japanese home releases of Sailor Moon Eternal have been announced. Details on those below.

Sailor Moon May Dates
Out Now: JayJays just released a new Luna hoodie and Sailor Moon socks.
May 16th: Cutie Moon Rod/Moon Sceptre Animation Colour Proplica release.
May 31st: Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune Tamashii Animation Color releases.
May 31st: Sailor Moon Eternal Super Sailor Neptune and Uranus Q Posket models come out. Two versions of each with slightly different colours.

Sailor Moon June Dates
June 3rd: Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie Part 1 and 2 debut on Netflix.
June 15th: Sailor Moon paperback Vol 1.
June 29th: Sailor V Eternal Edition Vol 1 and Vol 2.
June 30th: Super Sailor Saturn and Super Sailor Pluto Tamashii Nations Figuarts Mini figures debut.
June 30th: Sailor Moon Eternal comes out on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan in both regular and limited edition versions. Both releases are region-free though there are no subtitles. Pre-orders are now open here. A special limited edition with bonus figures is also available.
June 30th: Sailor Moon’s birthday. New announcements expected on this day. Maybe confirmation of a Stars movie or movies?
Other Sailor Moon 2021 Dates
July 1st: Sailor Moon Eternal Sailor Pluto and Saturn Q Posket models.
August 10th: Sailor Moon paperback Vol 2.
September 1st: Sailor Moon Eternal Usagi and Chibi Usa Q Posket models.
September: The new Princess Kaguya Sailor Moon musical will begin in Tokyo.
September: The super-cute Se-nya-Moon figures come out.
September: Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn Tamashii Animation Colour releases.
October 2nd: Ami Mizuno Sailor Moon Eternal Q Posket model.
October 12th: Sailor Moon paperback Vol 3.
December 14th: Sailor Moon paperback Vol 4.
What a year, huh? And this list doesn’t even include the eventual home release of Sailor Moon Eternal outside of Japan and any other yet-to-be-made announcements!
